This arts and athletics addition to this historic Chicago Public School campus in the Pullman neighborhood combines an auditorium, natatorium and gymnasium—acoustically separated but visually linked—in a single structure. The auditorium is designed to be flexible for all types of performances - theater, choral or instrumental - without requiring specific acoustic elements to be shifted between uses. The natatorium includes a pool with full competition capabilities, an underwater sound system and a viewing gallery.
